Terms of Use

Last updated: 07 July 2026

The German-language version of this document is the legally binding reference in case of any discrepancy in interpretation.

1. Scope and parties

These terms govern the relationship between the operator (Ahmad Sakka, “we”) and every user of cvanalyz.com — whether a consumer (B2C) or a company (B2B). By registering or using the service you agree to these terms. German law applies.

2. Description of the service

The platform provides automated, AI-assisted analysis of CVs (strengths/weaknesses, ATS compatibility, job match, recommendation) and a CV build/optimisation feature. The service is provided “as is”; we do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Results are advisory suggestions, not decisions.

3. No solely automated decision (Art. 22 GDPR)

The platform makes no solely automated decision producing legal effects. The report is a supporting tool; the final decision (hiring/rejection) always remains with a human. We also clearly inform you that you are interacting with an AI system and that the outputs are AI-generated (Art. 50 EU AI Act).

4. Account and email confirmation (Double Opt-in)

Activation requires confirming your email via a link. Disposable/fake addresses used to circumvent limits are prohibited. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

5. Minimum age

The service is available only to persons who are at least 18 years old. By registering you confirm that you are of legal age; your date of birth is required at sign-up to verify this.

6. Acceptable use

The free/trial account is for fair personal use. Prohibited: hacking attempts, automated requests (bots/scraping), and uploading unlawful content or content you have no right to process. We use automated security measures (incl. Cloudflare Turnstile). For serious or repeated violations we may — depending on severity — restrict, suspend or terminate access; we seek to notify you unless doing so would endanger system security or breach a legal obligation.

7. CV content and special categories (Art. 9 GDPR)

Your CV may contain sensitive data (photo, religion, origin, health, union membership). By uploading it you expressly consent to its processing for the service and confirm you included it voluntarily. In B2B mode (uploading third-party candidate data) you warrant that you have the necessary legal basis/consent; a data-processing agreement applies (see Privacy §10).

8. Payment and subscriptions (Paddle as Merchant of Record)

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as the registered Merchant of Record. You conclude the purchase legally with Paddle, which is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, and the calculation, collection and remittance of VAT and local taxes. No card/payment data is stored on our servers. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your dashboard before the renewal date. Charges may appear on your statement as “Paddle”. Plan credits are added every 30 days from the date of purchase (not at the start of the calendar month). Unused credits remain valid and accumulate up to the maximum defined per plan (100 on Starter, 200 on Pro, 300 on Business, 500 on Ultimate); once a plan's cap is reached, a renewal adds only the amount needed to reach it.

9. Consumer right of withdrawal

Consumers (B2C) in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal. As the service is delivered immediately after purchase, this right lapses once we begin performance after you have (a) expressly agreed to immediate performance before the period ends and (b) confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356 BGB). This express consent is given via a mandatory, un-pre-ticked checkbox at checkout. The model withdrawal form is at /widerruf.

10. Intellectual property

The platform, its design, code and the name cvanalyz.com are our property. You retain ownership of your CV and content and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

11. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for hiring decisions based on our reports. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by German law; liability for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health (§ 309 No. 7 BGB) remains unaffected.

12. Changes to the terms

We may amend these terms for legal or operational reasons. We notify users of material changes in advance; on rejection a right of termination applies.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

German law applies. The exclusive place of jurisdiction, Hamburg, applies only to merchants (B2B); for consumers the statutory jurisdiction applies.
